Summer is almost here and classes begin in July.

PRESENTATIONS!!!

Today was a crazy day!! I had two presentations to do and the first one was ok it was short and I didnt get nervous!!! But for some reason on the second presentations I got super nervous!! I don't know why this happens but I need to over come this! In class everyone that didnt present something did. We took Quiz #2 and for the most part I think I did good! The end of the semester is here and I think in a little glad.. kind of tired. A little break will do me fine I believe! By the time summer comes around I will Knock out more classes to get me that much closer to my AA degree!!

Today was kind of slow in class. Ms. Cross showed us how to use a scanner to scan documents and I think this is a very helpful too! Thank you Ms. Cross!!! Ms. Cross also let us take home our Quiz and I still no I got a few wrong!! A few students gave a short demo on different things. I dont know what else to talk about so I guess everyone have a great weekend because next week is the last week, then finals start!!! GOOD LUCK!!! Study HARD!!! Oh Yeah AND GOOOOO LAKERS!!!!!

Window Live!!

Today we made a Windows live account. It is a lot like Google in some way because we can do stuff like store documents and have e-mail account and so on. We also had two people with pertty neat contraptions. One guy presented his Apple touch pad witch I think is nice expecially once he showed us how it worked. The other guy showed us his Tablet PC witch it was cool and had alot of things to do with it but I think I would rather have the touch pad. We should have had our quiz today but we ran out of time so Ms. Cross made it a take home quiz witch I think was nice of her because she could have postponed it till Thursday.

Today Ms. Cross talked about being able to access her PC from another computer any where she is in the world as long as she has access to another computer. I think it was neat! Technology is really moving along! We also use a web site called Pic Resize. The project was we were to upload an image from google and upload it to PicResize.com and use their application to resize or picture so we can upload it to our profile on Etudes. It was really easy to do in just a few steps. We took a quiz on Online Resources; I think it was a confusing test at first, but then Ms. Cross explained it to me. I think I did good this time.

Skype!

Today was another fun day with Skype. Ms. Cross put half the class in another room and made us call classmates on the list she gave us with other students URLs, and ask them what number, on a sheet of paper she gave us, they were. I really enjoyed this activity. Then we tried twitter! I still don't understand how people find all of these social websites interesting. I guess everyone has there own preference. Its cool I guess. I think Twittier is easier because you don't have to write as much. After all the fun we took a quiz on what we noticed about Skype and if we think we will use it again. My answer was I dont think so.

Super Fun Skype!!

Today was a good day! We learned how to use Skype! I really had fun with it. There is alot of stuff besides work related items to do on a computer. I have always known that, but I dont find a whole lot of intrests in the computer in this way. I am having fun with what we are doing but I dont think I will ever use it again unless I have to for work. We had a test today that I think I hopefully did good on. The test was about Twitter which I no I will not use after this class because socializing on the network is not for me.

Today we worked more on or blogs. We are learning how to post comments from our email and I think it’s ok but easier to post from the website. I am finding that just making the back ground is fun. We took a quiz on different things today and I hope I did better than the last quiz, I don’t know what I was thinking. I guess I just had a rough day because the test wasn’t the only thing I had a problem with.

Audacity!!

Today we use a new thing called audacity! I think it was pertty cool we used it to record our voices to upload to our bl0g accounts. It was funI felt like I was a conductor on a tram at Disneyland....We also took another quiz on ACE Accounts and how to log in. I did horrable on the test because I was with the understanding that my log in was different from what it was.

I think blogging is difficut! Well for me anyways because I don't know what to talk about! I don't like to use the computer for socializing like this. I have a hard time expressing my thought into word in this way. Oh, and we had another quiz today on blogging!

Bloggers!

Today we built a blog. I dont think I like this idea but we will see where it goes. We also took a syllabus quiz. I should have gotten 100% but it didnt work out like that..
